Like taking photos? Keen photographer? Snapper supremo? Oxford Festival of the Arts has announced an open call for photographic works, based around the theme ‘What is your Oxford?’ for an exhibition being held at Pembroke College Art Gallery in May.
All photographers from children to pensioners, amateurs to professionals, with a link to Oxford, are being encouraged to submit their entries by February 16 to the judging panel who will choose the many works that will feature in the exhibition.
The theme “What is your Oxford?” aims to capture what our city means to you. It will tie in with Oxford Festival Of The Arts 2025 theme Magnificent Oxford, and the exhibition is being held as part of Oxfordshire Art Weeks and in collaboration with Photo Oxford.

Submitted pics can be abstract, figurative, or scape, featuring people, wildlife, objects, nature, or anything representational.
“We are aiming the exhibition at people who live in Oxford, or with connections with Oxford at all levels,” OFA’s Milica Tičerić explains.
OFA will run from May onwards with dates to be confirmed, and the photographs here, by local photographer Bharat Patel, are chosen by OFA as an example.
