The OXINABOX FOOD AWARDS are back! And to celebrate our fifth food awards ceremony, we are hosting them at The Ashmolean for the first time on May 12, with a fabulous after party at Dishoom’s Permit Room in Oxford.
Here to give Oxfordshire’s hospitality industry a much needed boost, a massive pat on the back and the recognition and attention it deserves after such a difficult year, we have really pushed the boat out this year.
Sponsored by headliners Goldstar Recruitment and The Feathers, with Brandpay and Jolly Foods, as well as Oxford Fine Dining and Grape Minds on board, and Raymond Blanc of Le Manoir fame lined up to host, come Monday March 3 we will need your help as the voting kicks off.

Last year over 40,000 people voted and there are 10 categories to vote for:
THE CATEGORIES ARE:
- 1) Best Newcomer 2025
2) Best Chef
3) Best Pub/Bar
4) Best Gastropub
5) Best Restaurant
6) Best Cafe
7) Best Veggie/Vegan Offering
8) Best International
9) Best Food Hero
10) Hospitality Woman Of The Year
We will also be presenting the Oxford Guild Of Chefs Junior Chef of The Year award on the night Enter Oxfordshire’s Junior Chef of The Year 2025, cook for Pierre Koffmann and Gary Jones and win meal at Le Manoir. Plus new OxFood Hero competition!

So how does it work? We pick the nominations for each category very carefully and announce them over the next two weeks. You then vote for your favourites, to pick the finalists over the next two months. All you have to do is click through to vote for your favourite Oxfordshire cafes, restaurants, pubs, chefs and people
Voting closes on April 30, when all the votes are counted up and the finalists in each category announced, who will then be invited to the glittering ceremony where the winners will be presented with their trophies, after a sophisticated champagne and canape reception.

So, it’s your votes that count, and you alone can choose the finalists of your favourite Oxfordshire pubs, restaurants and cafes.
The awards ceremony will also raise money for the Helen & Douglas House charity in Oxford, helping terminally ill children live life to the full.

Last year around 40,000 people voted, but we want to beat our record, so get ready to vote for your favourites and reward Oxfordshire’s hospitality industry for their enormous commitment and sheer brilliance.
