Tickets were released today for Bob Dylan’s concert at Oxford’s New Theatre in November.

The legendary singer comes to Oxford on November 4 as part of his The Rough and Rowdy Ways World Tour which is travelling through Europe and the UK this autumn and Oxford’s New Theatre is delighted to be part of it.

“It will be a privilege and a pleasure to host Bob Dylan in our city. He is an icon of his genre and a master of his craft. Genius is a word used too lightly but, in this case, it is one that could easily be seen as an understatement,” New Theatre’s Max Pollard said. “We hope you will join us in welcoming him here.”

Bob Dylan has been a major part of popular culture throughout his career with a discography that includes Like a Rolling Stone, The Times They Are A-Changing and Knocking on Heavens Door, alongside countless others.

His music has spoken to generation after generation for over 60 years and seen him sell over 125,000,000 records, win a Nobel Prize for literature, 10 Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, an induction into The Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame and a place in TIME’s list of the most influential people of the century.

The Rough and Rowdy Way’s Tour celebrates his 39th studio album of the same name, released in 2020, which includes instant classics Murder Most Foul, I Contain Multitudes and False Prophet.
