You can now go paddle-boarding, rowing and kayaking at Blenheim Palace’s Great Lake until September 3, thanks to LiveFree Adventures.

Arguably now the most prestigious and scenic paddlesports base in the whole of the UK, The Blenheim Palace Boathouse is now open seven days a week, from 10am-5pm for anyone wanting to glide across the lake and enjoy the stunning vistas of Blenheim Palace, The Grande Bridge and the Harry Potter Tree.

And during August you can bring your own paddle-board to Blenheim in Woodstock and self-launch it yourself from the Boathouse, as long as it inflatable and carried through the grounds packed away.

If not you can hire traditional rowing boats and high quality paddle craft from the boathouse where staff will instruct you and provide lifejackets.

Either way, whether you’re a pro or a complete novice, there really isn’t a more scenic place to hit the water this summer.

It’s a first for Blenheim, but pre-booking is required and day or annual passes to Blenheim are a prerequisite. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and there is a ratio of 1:3 for adults with young people. https://www.blenheimpalace.com/whats-on/events/boating-paddleboarding-kayaking/
