The White Hart in Fyfield team picking up their One To Watch award

The Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropub Awards have been announced with The Bull in Charlbury (11), The Wild Rabbit in Kingham (46), The Double Red Duke in Clanfield (50), The Bell Inn in Langford (52), The Golden Ball in Lower Assendon near Henley (61), The Feathered Nest in Nether Westcote (71), Killingworth Castle in Wootton (79) and a special One To Watch award given to The White Hart in Fyfield.

Voted for by more than 350 hospitality industry experts from across the UK, as well as the core 1-50 list of the best pubs, Estrella Damm has also introduced a 51-100 to further highlight culinary excellence within the pub industry. There was also a selection of special awards judged by an expert panel.

Kay Chandler, who runs The White Hart in Fyfield with her husband Mark says: “We are incredibly proud to have received this amazing accolade and to represent the Oxfordshire culinary scene. Her team received their special award at a ceremony in London yesterday (see main pic) attended by Mark, Kay, head chef Grahame and restaurant manager Sarah.

The SquareMeal Awards 2025’s must-visit restaurants in the UK and London have also been announced with Le Manoir Aux Quat’ Saisons in Great Milton listed as number 72.
