Alex James himself has been announced as one of the headliners at The Big Feastival 2025 it was announced today.

The Blur guitarist, who hosts the glorious Cotswold festival on his farm in Kingham, will premiere the brand-spanking-new Alex James’ Britpop Classical with some very special guest appearances promised on the Sunday night of August’s Bank Holiday weekend..

Alex James says: “My star-studded Britpop Classical, where Blur, Oasis, Pulp, Supergrass and the entire host of Britpop big hitters get the full orchestra treatment, lands almost exactly 30 years since Roll With It and Country House went head-to-head. I can’t wait to see everyone here in the beautiful Cotswolds for what promises to be our best summer celebration yet!”

The Big Feastival returns on August 22 – 24‘s for a hedonistic weekend of stellar music, mouth-watering food and family fun.

Music headliners announced today include Nelly Furtado and Faithless (Live), alongside Travis, The WombatsSophie Ellis-BextorRizzle KicksTom Walker and Maxïmo Park.

Nelly Furtado will headline on Friday with anthems I’m Like A Bird’, ‘Maneater’ ‘Promiscuous’ and ‘Say It Right, on Saturday, legendary dance pioneers Faithless (Live) take over the main stage with timeless classics such as Insomnia’, ‘God Is A DJ’ and ‘We Come 1’, and Alex James’ Britpop Classical will provide a fitting finale.
