In alphabetical order, the nominations for Best EUROPEAN are: VOTE HERE
Acropolis Greek Taverna, Headington – Unashamedly traditional with wonderful Greek food, their extensive menu includes all the favourites from gyros to souvlaki, spanakopitakia, dolmades and moussaka. VOTE HERE: https://surveyhero.com/c/fymcqqcb
Antep Kitchen, East Oxford – Always fun, always vibrant, the food is ample, authentic and unashamedly Turkish. A great night out – perfect for a party or large group. VOTE HERE https://surveyhero.com/c/fymcqqcb
Arbequina, East Oxford – Tapas like you’ve never had it before. Simple but delicious, less is certainly more here under head chef Ben Bateman. Everyone raves about it, it’s that good! VOTE HERE https://surveyhero.com/c/fymcqqcb
Branca, Jericho – Italian in every way – a huge generous, bustling deli next to a more refined and endlessly popular restaurant serving smart food which also boasts an enticing outside dining area crying out for some sun. VOTE HERE https://surveyhero.com/c/fymcqqcb
Brasserie Blanc, Jericho – Still Raymond Blanc’s go-to, unsurprising really considering his name is above the door, but it’s unfailingly French, classic and consistent, with a charming interior. Somewhere you’ll always want to go for dinner then. VOTE HERE https://surveyhero.com/c/fymcqqcb
El Rincon, Summertown – Spanish to its very heart, with the real deal Juan Clares in the kitchen producing all the classics with an unfailingly authentic touch. VOTE HERE https://surveyhero.com/c/fymcqqcb
Kazbar, East Oxford – Wonderful tapas, cocktails and an enticing vibe. Pop in for a drink and you’ll stay all night. VOTE HERE https://surveyhero.com/c/fymcqqcb
La Cucina, St Clements – Run by an Italian family, with Italian chefs and Italian food. The specials are always amazing, the ingredients are impeccable and there’s a good smattering of fresh fish and meat dishes alongside the more traditional pizza/pasta menu. VOTE HERE https://surveyhero.com/c/fymcqqcb
Las Chicas, Faringdon – always lively – the perfect blend of party, community and a reverence to food that only the Spanish understand, meaning you can enjoy all three at once. Olé! VOTE HERE https://surveyhero.com/c/fymcqqcb
Mamma Mia, Summertown – Enormously family friendly as all good Italians should be, it’s reassuringly busy, noisy and atmospheric with a menu that never changes, which is a good thing as we all have our must-have go-to dishes there. VOTE HERE https://surveyhero.com/c/fymcqqcb
Medley, Binsey – Oxford’s favourite open air pub/ pizza parlour, is re-opening in April for a busy season. Is it the seasonal pizzas, baked and made on site with produce from the farm next door, or the views that win us over every time? Maybe both. Vote here https://surveyhero.com/c/fymcqqcb
Pit Kitchen, Chipping Norton – set up on the Cornwell Estate just outside Chipping Norton – what started as a pop up has now got a winter home and is raring to get back outside to produce its Turkish style street food and open fire cooking style. VOTE HERE https://surveyhero.com/c/fymcqqcb
Pompette, Summertown – The food hails from Alsace Lorraine so has a decidedly French/German feel about it, and while the cooking is ambitious, head chef Pascal Wiedemann is proud of the classics, which are heartily received by its loyal following. VOTE HERE https://surveyhero.com/c/fymcqqcb
Sartorelli’s, Oxford – has livened up Oxford’s Covered Market no end. Perch at its tables and watch the pizzas being made right there in front of you, it’s popular, quick and just what Oxford needs. The perfect place to watch the world go by. VOTE HERE https://surveyhero.com/c/fymcqqcb
White Rabbit, Oxford – as famous for its pizzas as it is for its great atmosphere and beer, the menu is extensive, its veggie/vegan/gluten free offerings are plentiful, service is quick and the setting wonderfully inclusive. An all-round favourite. In hindsight, we might spend rather too much time here. Not going to lie. VOTE HERE https://surveyhero.com/c/fymcqqcb
