5) Tap Social Taproom, Botley’s New Year’s Eve Y2K FLASHBACK: An 80s-90s pre-apocalypse party, 8pm until 3am. The ultimate countdown to the New Year with some major classics from DJs VILE KYLE and BOB E DEMONS. Fancy dress is encouraged but not essential. 6) The Plough, West Hanney have prepared a fabulous four course NYE menu with a glass of fizz, and then bacon sandwiches at 1am for £80 per person. Start with a selection of breads with Marmite butter, a seasonal starter, then BBQ squid with lemon and pea puree, pickled celery, an onglet steak with celeriac puree, duck fat hash browns, pickled mushrooms and red wine jus, and pud is a vanilla pan cotta with spiced apple compote. 9) The Swan, Islip, New Year’s Eve in the Cygnet dining room.
