Notorious Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft is the first headliner to be announced for next summer’s Nocturne Live.
Supported by Lightning Seeds and The Zutons, he will perform at the five-night Nocturne Live concert series on Thursday June 19 2025.

The renowned frontman of ‘90s rock band The Verve, the group’s breakthrough album Urban Hymns remains one of the best-selling albums in UK history, its hit singles Bitter Sweet Symphony, Lucky Man, and The Drugs Don’t Work, helping to define the ‘90s.
Since The Verve disbanded in 1999, Ashcroft has enjoyed a thriving solo career, seven UK Top Five albums, a string of hit singles, plus the Ivor Novello Awards for Songwriter of the Year and Outstanding Contribution to British Music.

And he won’t be alone! Celebrating 35 years in the business, Lightning Seeds became one of the most successful acts of the ‘90s thanks to hits The Life of Riley, Change, their enduring 1996 smash Three Lions and lead singer and songwriter Ian Broudie.
The Zutons are a multi-platinum-selling Liverpool band famed for their smash hit singles Why Won’t You Give Me Your Love? and Valerie – a huge international hit which reached even greater heights when covered by Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse. The band recently released The Big Decider, their first new album in 16 years which was produced by Nile Rodgers.

Nocturne live will run from Wednesday June 18 – Sunday June 22 2025 with 10,000 guests a night expected to flock to Blenheim Palace for the five night concert series.
