Truck Festival has announced the first wave of names for its 2026 lineup – bringing together a stacked bill of indie titans (making the perfect indie party playlist) and first-time headliners for an event that has become a special weekend and a rite of passage for fans of all ages. Headliners include The Maccabees, CMAT, Two Door Cinema Club (celebrating 15 years of debut album ’Tourist History’), The Wombats and The Libertines alongside the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, The Vaccines (celebrating 15 years of their debut album ‘What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?’, Primal Scream, English Teacher, Rizzle Kicks, The K’s, Lottery Winners, Keo, Florence Road, The Cribs, Everything Everything, Friendly Fires, The Royston Club, Getdown Services, Willie J Healey, Westside Cowboy, Black Honey, Radio Free Alice and many more. Revered as one of the UK’s most beloved festival weekends, being held in Steventon in Oxfordshire from July 23-26, Truck Festival returns in 2026 with its biggest edition to date – packing summer memories and a home for all ages into a weekend stacked with a who’s who in the indie and alternative music world.

Becoming a true rite of passage and indisputably the best value festival ticket of the entire UK season, 2026 looks primed to capture everything which has made Truck such a standout of the festival summer. Incredible bands, an unrivalled atmosphere and a feeling that can’t be touched no matter the time of the weekend. There’s a reason why so many talk about Truck Festival, now it’s time to see why. 

Announced today is the first wave of names confirmed to head to Hill Farm this summer, including FIVE headliners spanning the weekend – capturing the indie scene across different eras and moments.

After reuniting this year, The Maccabees make their long-awaited Truck debut headlining the festival in 2026. One of the most acclaimed bands of the 2000s, The Maccabees stand as a vital pillar of the British guitar scene with an arsenal of classics and their own distinct sound inspiring singalongs and influencing generations in equal measure. The likes of ‘Pelican’, ‘Can You Give It’, Love You Better’, ‘Marks To Prove It’, ‘Latchmere’ and more have come to define the modern indie landscape – making them a band that flows through the veins of Truck.

Also stacked with anthems born for summer festival singalongs, Two Door Cinema Club returns to Truck Festival celebrating 15 years of their seminal debut album ‘Tourist History’ alongside all their greatest hits like ‘What You Know’, ‘Undercover Martyn’, ‘I Can Talk’, ‘Something Good Can Work’ and so much more. 

Making her headline debut, CMAT brings her Very Sexy CMAT Band to Truck Festival on the Thursday night to mark an incredible 12 months that has seen her become a global national treasure.

Closing the festival on Sunday night is a co-headline celebration of the ages. Pioneers and one of the most important UK bands of the 21st century The Libertines take to the Truck stage with their unpredictable and thrilling live show that calls across their career to date. Expect ‘Don’t Look Back Into The Sun’, ‘Can’t Stand Me Now’, ‘Run Run Run’, ‘What Became Of The Likely Lads’, ‘Time For Heroes’ and so much more have become beacons of the indie world.

Likewise, The Wombats brings their arena-sized bangers to Truck Festival this summer for a band who continue to get bigger and bigger -the feel-good headliner where having a good time is a guarantee. Get the Wombat costumes ready.

as if that wasn’t enough Truck icons The Vaccines return to the festival as Special Guests, whilst one of the best live bands in the country Kaiser Chiefs come to Truck for a set lead by their unmistakable frontman Ricky Wilson. The iconic Primal Scream take to the Truck stage for a momentous set. The Cribs, Everything Everything, Circa Waves and Friendly Fires have also been announced.

Keo comes to Truck for a set that’s sure to cement their spot as one of the most essential bands of modern times whilst Florence Road touch down on their path to superstardom, Mercury Prize winners English Teacher head to Truck with a must-watch live show, The Royston Club show just why they’ve become beloved indie trailblazers whilst The K’s take their storming indie-rock to new levels for a set of huge festival anthems.

Joined by the likes of Getdown Services, Lottery Winners,, Brooke Combe, Willie J Healey, Black Honey, Radio Free Alice, Westside Cowboy, Adult DVD, Freddie Halkon, Good Health Good Wealth, Etta Marcus, Joe & The Shitboys, Silver Gore, Bleach 9:3 and many more – it’s clear why Truck Festival remains the date in the diary that bands and fans circle as a must to define the year. 

After record demand seeing 75% of tickets already gone and with tickets going off-sale recently, the next opportunity for fans to book their spot at Truck Festival 2026 comes this week – with Limited Pre-Sale Tickets available from 6pm on Thursday November 27. Available only to those signed-up in advance. Subject to availability, all remaining tickets will go on-sale for General Release from 10am on Friday November 28.
