THE BIG FEASTIVAL’S UNMISSABLE LINE-UP FOR 2020 has been announced and is more ambitious than ever with some massive names from the food and music industry to entertain and feed us at Alex James famous Kingham farm.
The ninth The Big Feastival takes place this August Bank Holiday, 28 – 30 August with a weekend of music, food and family entertainment.
Main stage host will be the fabulous BBC Radio 2’s Jo Whiley again, and confirmed acts include Sigala, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Rag’n’Bone Man, Zara Larsson, Tom Walker, Maisie Peters, Reef, and many more.
Food-wise, you can get stuck in to the feasting with the likes of Marco Pierre-White, Mark Hix, Tom Brown, Asma Khan, Matt Tebbutt, Anna Haugh, Merlin Labron-Johnson, Ellis Barrie, Olia Hercules, Simon Hulstone, Ching He Huang, Paul Dodd, Jemima Jones & Lucy Carr-Ellison.
Lindsey Russell from CBBC will be in charge of family fun and children’s TV megastar Justin Fletcher, will be joined by Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain Part V, Aardman Animations, Roald Dahl And The Imagination Seekers, plus The Royal Shakespeare Company, Adam Henson’s Cotswolds Farm Park, and much more.
Host Alex James said: “This is now our ninth Big Feastival and I can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the farm. It is such a thrill to see how the festival develops and evolves each year and I have no doubt 2020 will be bigger and better than ever.
“I couldn’t be more excited at the prospect of Nile Rodgers – the king of funk no less – and CHIC basically playing a gig in my back garden, not to mention hosting culinary rock star Marco Pierre White. The lineup already has something for everyone, with plenty more to come… See you in August!”
