Tap Social’s ‘Change is Brewing’ Beer Fest was so successful that it’s decided to hold a festive version of its festival in Oxford on Saturday November 18.
Tap Social’s November Festive Beer Bash will feature seven leading independent craft breweries from around the UK, many making their first appearance in Oxford. There will also be a full bar, food including hand-stretched sourdough pizza from Proof Social Bakehouse, live music and more.
Held at the Tap Social Taproom in Botley (the flagship of the award-winning craft brewery and social enterprise), none of the guest breweries have previously appeared at a Change is Brewing Festival.
‘we’re genuinely stoked to have six really good independent craft breweries coming along’
The November line-up includes Gravity Well Brewing (London), Signature Brew (London), BMAN Brewery (Oxford), Tap Social Movement (Oxford), Three Hills Brewing (Thrapston), Two Flints Brewery (Windsor) and Siren Craft Brew (Wokingham).
Tap Social’s Brian Spencer, says: “Our Change is Brewing festivals are all about proudly flying that independent beer flag, helping introduce other breweries we love to Oxfordshire, and having a great time doing it.
“So we’re genuinely stoked to have six really good independent craft breweries coming to this one, including Oxford’s own BMAN Brewery, all of whom are making their first appearance at the festival, so we can’t wait to see what they bring.”
‘independent craft still only accounts for about 5% of beer consumption in this country’
“It may sometimes feel like craft beer is everywhere in the UK these days, and in some ways it is, but independent craft still only accounts for about 5% of beer consumption in this country,” Brian adds, “so it’s rewarding to have so many of the UK’s best and brightest independent craft breweries joining us at our Festive Change is Brewing festivals.”
Tickets are only £10 and inclusive of an exclusive festival glass. Ticketholders will have access to street food, live music, and all the delicious beers. BOOK HERE
