Just as the sun comes out, so Chippy Theatre announces its annual al fresco season featuring music and children’s shows in some stunning locations around the Cotswolds.

The fun kicks off on June 14 in the beautiful and extensive grounds of Merriscourt on the border of Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.

Jazz

Home of Thomas Astor and his family, there you can enjoy THE EUROPEAN JAZZ QUARTET and their tribute show to the ‘Kings of Jazz’ – Louis Armstrong and Sidney Bechet, with renowned international singer and French trumpeter – Jerome Etcheberry and his quartet.

Bad Dad

Children will love this open air adaption of David Walliams’ Bad Dad at CORNBURY PARK on August 17 at 4pm. Join Heartbreak Productions for this warm-hearted tale that follows the highs and lows of a father-son relationship, and watch Frank and Gilbert navigating their way through car chases and convicts and the clutches of the local crime lord.

21st Century Queen

And last but not least prepare for the concert of a lifetime as 21st Century Queen recreates many of the band’s biggest hits including: We will Rock You, Radio Ga Ga and Bohemian Rhapsody. Performing hit after hit, 21st Century Queen promises a big night out at Chipping Norton Rugby Club on August 20.
