Nocturne Live has announced it is quitting Blenheim Palace after 10 years of tenure, the night after Nile Rodgers and Chic headlined the closing night of another epic long weekend of music and global music stars in Woodstock.
A statement issued to its customers today read: “What a weekend it has been! Four days of sun, music and unforgettable memories. Over the past ten years we have had the pleasure of welcoming legendary artists and over a quarter of a million of you to our home nestled in the Great Court of Blenheim Palace.
‘We will be in touch in the coming months to share our exciting plans for the future. There is still so much music we can’t wait to bring to Oxfordshire’
“But now we are looking to write the next chapter of Nocturne Live. Nocturne Live will not be returning to the Palace in 2026.

“We would like to take this opportunity to send a huge thank you to Blenheim Palace for being our home for 10 years of glorious shows. It has been a privilege to call this historic space our home and bring music to Woodstock.”
The news came totally out of the blue just a day after the likes of Richard Ashcroft of The Verve, The Corrs, Gary Barlow and Nile Rodgers headlined the four day music annual music festival which has welcomed the likes of Elton John, Lionel Richie, Kylie Minogue, Noel Gallagher, Simple Minds, Tears for Fears, Elvis Costello, Lauryn Hill, Gregory Porter, Van Morrison, The Jacksons, Crowded House, Chaka Khan, and Sugababes.

Concert-goers at last night’s epic Nile Rodgers and CHIC gig had no idea the legend was closing the famous music festival at Blenheim for good, as they partied the night away.

But Nocturne Live did add in a cryptic addition to its announcement: “We will be in touch in the coming months to share our exciting plans for the future. There is still so much music we can’t wait to bring to Oxfordshire,” suggesting it may relocate somewhere else within Oxfordshire.
We will keep you posted, and update this post as soon as new information surfaces and a press release is issued.
