Thame Food Festival is returning this September with a weekend packed full of culinary events, family fun, big names and foodie flair. And we have 10 pairs of tickets to giveaway!
Festival-goers can expect a weekend of food, music, shows, markets, bars, demos, family fun and famous culinary stars.
Headlining the Big Cookery Stage this year is none other than Christian De Vries, last year’s Great British Bake-Off finalist, bringing his signature charm and baking brilliance to the festival.
Joining him is fellow GBBO fan favourite – the cheeky Nelly, as well as a stellar lineup of TV talent including Steven Carter-Bailey, Dave Mooney, Eva Humphries, Suki Pantal, Forest Kwok, Matthew Samuels and Mary Wyer – all well loved faces from MasterChef.
Sample a world of flavour in the Artisan & Street Food Market – from vegan treats to global street food, visit The Hawkstone Tasting Studio hosted by broadcaster Jane Rakison, with curated wine and Hawkstone beer tastings throughout the weekend.
In terms of family-friendly activities, book now for the Kids’ Cookery Sessions with Mrs Bun the Baker where little chefs can get hands-on during the 45-minute sessions (the £10.50 tickets include a chef’s hat, apron, and recipe book).
The Family Fun Zone also awaits, bursting with circus skills, bouncy castles, giant bubbles, a tombola, face painting and more, or venture down to The Dog Show where your pooch can strut their stuff and compete in lots of fun categories.
As for the Live Music Stage, enjoy a wonderful mix of blues, rock, pop, reggae, beats, folk and soul, relax and unwind at its Hawkstone Bar and The Drunken Sailors for some expertly mixed cocktails and local beers.
And check out the wonderful global street food stalls, featuring cuisines from around the world, as well as the 100+ artisan producers who are specially selected for Thame Food Festival, plying their wares.
