Fans of The Double Red Duke in Clanfield will be delighted to hear that their favourite haunt is opening a new restaurant at Bicester Village in November. REVIEW: Why everyone’s talking about new Cotswold pub The Double Red Duke in Clanfield!

Run by Country Creatures, headed up by Sam and Georgie Pearman, the new site will be the latest addition to their portfolio of hotels, restaurants and inns, where they will continue to bring their signature British style where seasonal cooking and well known hospitality is the name of the game.

The new restaurant will boast an open kitchen in the heart of the new venue, serving flame-cooked dishes made from the finest seasonal British produce.

Open seven days a week, guests can start the day with breakfast favourites such as The English or enjoy the all-day menu of classics such as cheddar toasties, sausage rolls, fish & chips, pies, steaks, rotisserie chicken, apple & blackberry crumble and sticky toffee pudding. An afternoon tea addition is planned for early next year.

Sam Pearman says: “We’ve always believed in creating spaces that feel generous, relaxed and beautifully made,” Georgie adding “the Double Red Duke at Bicester Village allows us to bring that same spirit. Good food, good company and a sense of belonging, of course alongside some incredible shopping too.

The original and hugely popular Double Red Duke is a 17th-century coaching inn beautifully reimagined as a boutique hotel and restaurant. Adjacent is fellow Country Creatures pub The Clanfield Arms.
