The Tap Social beer festival is back with its fifth annual celebration of indie beer taking place at its Taproom in Botley, this time with lots of extras and a new title Change is Brewing With Friends.
The all-day celebration of community, independent beer, street food, music, DJs and more is set for Saturday June 6 and features 11 carefully selected UK indie breweries who will be pouring their freshest and finest beers for all and sundry.
And to commemorate the festival’s 5th anniversary, Tap is making it even more special by collaborating with 10 of those breweries on 10 exceptional beers making their worldwide draught debut at the festival.
As if that wasn’t enough, this year’s music lineup is just as exciting with Buzzy East London post-punk queer disco band WIDGET performing a headline set, alongside Alto (indie rock), The Bobo (experimental electronica), Count Skylarkin (reggae/rocksteady DJ), Felix Ross (rising singer-songwriter), and DJ Molemann (funk).
And when you get hungry it’s all in hand – delicious street food served up from Proof Pizza, Squires of Benson and 1885 Burgers.
But back to the beer, apart from the excellent Tap Social beer you can expect Elusive Brewing, Siren Craft Brew, Attic Brew Co, Bluntrock Brewery, Verdant Brewing Co, Closet Brewing, Drop Project Brewing, Pretty Decent Beer Co, Sureshot Brewing, Duration Beer and Indie Rabble Brewing Co to be on hand, breweries stretching the length and breadth of the UK from Scotland to Norfolk.
Beer lovers will also be delighted to discover that Tap Social Movement and Brewser are releasing an exclusive Change is Brewing collaboration beer box of the 10 new collaboration beers created to celebrate this fantastic beer festival, exclusively available from Brewser until June 21.
